Phoenix City All-stars present a truly unique celebration of one of Britain’s most iconic labels. Taking some of 2 Tone’s greatest songs by The Specials, Madness, The Beat, Elvis Costello and The Selecter and replanting in 1960′s Jamaica.  The resulting tracks are truly authentic Skatalites/Studio One styled blazin 60′s ska, rocksteady & early reggae. Wonderfully inspired interpretations, performed by an all-star band plus legendary guest vocalists Dave Barker (the voice of Dave & Ansell Collins) and AJ Franklin (The Federals and The Chosen Few).

To promote their debut albums release the All-stars will be joining the legendary Dave & Ansell Collins on their super rare English tour.  With ‘Double Barrel’ these Jamaican legends gave USA it’s first reggae hit on the Billboard Hot 100 (reaching no.22) and the second ever reggae no.1 in the UK.  This will be their first tour in UK in 40 years!
