Do you like subtlety, do you like your music full of light and shade, nice melodies and infectious vocal harmonies, do you need pop hooks or a big sing-a-long chorus? if you answered yes to any of the above, then I suggest you move on to the next review, if however you like balls to wall, hard hitting black and thrash metal you’ve come to the right place.
Witchmaster don’t bother with nice introductions or melodic passages instead they’d rather bludgeon you over the head with galloping guitar riffs, guttural growls and punishing pounding beats that are so fast and heavy that if you tried to head bang in time to the machine gun drumming you’d probably snap your spinal cord.
If I tell you that Witchmaster feature members of Incarnation, Vader and Devilyn among their ranks whilst their former drummer is the sticksman of `Behemoth you’ll know what to expect from Trucizna.
The black metal four-piece lay waste to the speakers with an incredible display of aggression and bile, instruments are tortured and throats are ripped raw as Witchmaster deliver nine tracks of crushing metal in a shade over thirty minutes.
If you like all things black and crunchy you’re not going to be disappointed with the likes of Self-Inflicted Divinity and Bred In Captivity, they, like rest of the tracks on here will have you propelling yourself across the living room in a crazed frenzy in a bid to start a mosh-pit with your Nan.
Trucizna is like a short sharp unprovoked poke in the eye with a stick, it’s nasty, brutal and will leave you on the floor in pain.
